DU Roll Back FYUP but students enrolled in FYUP 2013-14 shall be effected

The University of Delhi (DU) has rolled FYUP; now admission to Under Graduate (UG) programmes across all DU Colleges shall be made under the scheme of courses that were in force in academic session 2012-13. However, in doing so the interests of FYUP 2013-14 Batch shall be take care. The students already enrolled for 4 Year B.Tech Programme in Computer Science, Electronics, Food Technology, Instrumentation Electronics and Polymer Science 2013-14 DU Batch need not to worry. The colleges and concerned authorities are informed well by University Grants Commission (UGC) and University of Delhi (DU) regarding conduct of program and obtaining approval from bodies such as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and UGC. Read full press release of DU and UGC in this regard. Click Here.

4 Year B.Tech Programme in Computer Science, Electronics, Food Technology, Instrumentation Electronics and Polymer Science i.e. FYUP introduced in 2013-14 is Technical Qualification approved by AICTE and Degree Qualification as approved by UGC. There shall be no disadvantage while applying for higher degree or job after successful completion of course. This is my take after going through Press Releases and related news items related DU FYUP Roll Back. The degrees and certificates shall be honored by academia and industry as equivalent to similar qualification obtained from any other college or university.
