University of Delhi (DU) Admission Schedule 2014-15 (Under Graduate Courses)

The University of Delhi (DU) announces Admission Timeline 2014-15 for Under Graduate (UG) Programmes and Courses offered through various affiliated colleges. Here are details at a glance:

22.5% for SC/ST (12150 Seats)
5% Sports and ECA in each course
3% Differently Abled (1620)

How to apply for DU Colleges?

The common pre-admission form (OMR) will be available both online and offline.

How to obtain OMR Forms Offline?

New Delhi: Daulat Ram (North Campus), Hansraj College (North Campus), STTB Khalsa College (North Campus), IP College for Women (North Campus) and Swami Shraddhanand College Alipur

South Delhi: Gargi College (Siri Fort Road), PGDAV College Nehru Nagar Ring Road, Dayal Singh College Lodhi Road,  Desbandhu College-Kalkaji, ARSD College-Dhaula Kuan

East Delhi: Shyam Lal College (Shahadara), Vivekanand College-Vivek Vihar, Mahara Agrasen College-Mayur Vihar Phase I

Delhi University Admission Criteria 2014-15


  • Uniform additional criteria across colleges
  • Qualifying marks in mathematics in class 12 must for admission to honours courses in economics, statistics and mathematics.
  • A candidate who has not studied the subject at class 12 is which he / she is seeking honours will have disadvantage of 2% in best of four aggregrate.
  • Those seeking language honours will get 2% advantage in best of four aggregrate if studied elective language in class 12; 2% disadvantage in best of four aggregate if studied functional language.


DU Admission 2014 Important Dates:

Issue & Receipt of forms at DU Registration centres: 2 June 2014 to 16 June 2014 from 9 am to 1pm (excluding Sundays)

1st Cutoff list: 24 June 2014
Admission and Fees Payment: 24 June 2014-26June2014

2nd Cutoff List: 27 June 2014
Admission: June 27, 28 and 30, 2014

3rd Cutoff list: 1 July 2014
Admission: 1 July 2014 to 3 July 2014

4th Cutoff List: 4 July 2014
Admission: 4, 5 and 7 July, 2014

5th Cutoff list: 8 July 2014
Admission: 8-10 July 2014

Additional Cutoff List In Case Seats Stay Vacant

  • 6th List: July 11, 2014
  • 7th List: 14 July 2014
  • 8th List: 16 July 2014
  • 9th List: 18 July 2014
  • 10th List: 21 July 2014


For evening colleges: Timing for fee deposit is 4 to 7 PM

Open Days 

North Campus: Conference Centre: 21, 22 and 26 to 30 May 2014

South Campus: SP Jain Centre: May 23 & 24 courses are now eligible for admission, but with a deduction of 10% of maximum marks in each subject.

Elective and Vocational Subjects

  • All elective subjects offered by CBSE and as Honours Courses by DU will be accepted in best of four as academic subjects without any disadvantages.
  • But Physical Education, home science and music in Class XII will be considered in best of four as academic / elective subject for only those seeking admission in these three honours.
  • All candidates pursuing even there or four vocational courses are now eligible for admission but with a deduction of 10% of maximum marks in each subject.
